2. Dia de Los Muertos

3. Festival Gourmet International

4. Releasing of Sea Turtles

In Banderas Bay, local conservation groups collect the eggs to protect them until they hatch. Once they have hatched, they are safely released to the sea. 7. Downtown Art Walk

8. Municipal Ballet Xiutla

9. Seman Santa
From April 10th through April 16th is when Semana Santa will be held. Semana Santa is known as Holy Week in English. Semana Santa is a time when thousands of visitors come to the area’s local beaches for the holiday escape. This is an excellent time to enjoy the beautiful beaches in Banderas Bay if you don’t mind large crowds.
10. Cinco de Mayo
Last but not least, Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in Puerto Vallarta. While this holiday is an annual celebration that is celebrated more in the United States than Mexico, each year on May 5th, Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla back in 1862.
